New shipmates board The Bigger Boat

TBBs new hires say "Ahoy!"

Integrated agency The Bigger Boat (TBB) has announced the appointment of four new recruits to serve its expanding client roster.

Among the latest intake of crew is the company’s first graphic design intern, Eve Molloy. Having previously undertaken work experience with the business, Molloy has now joined as graphic design intern on a one-day-a-week basis, alongside her university studies, where she will be given the opportunity to apply her academic learnings to real-life scenarios — evolving her skillset, and career, in the process.

Molloy will be joined on deck by University of Huddersfield graduate and digital marketing executive Liam Hayward, who will specialise in paid advertising, search engine optimisation, and conversion rate optimisation. Liam will be mentored by senior colleagues within the business to build on his skills within the digital arena, with a view to progressing into a paid media manager role.

New account manager Liam Colgan, who has previous experience as a project manager and PRINCE2 practitioner, will be a key contact for clients, organising and distributing workload to ensure timely outcomes for clients.

Finally, with his experience in the music and hospitality industries, senior account manager Danny Oliver brings a strong digital skillset. Responsible for ensuring clients achieve strategic and operational goals, Danny will drive activity while bringing added value — especially in his areas of specialism, which include marketing and management. His ambition is to become TBB’s next account director.

TBB managing director Andrew McCaul said: “It’s always exciting bringing new talent onboard — offering people the opportunity to take the next step in their careers is infinitely rewarding, and in our new recruits we see some really exciting potential.

“As a business we’re committed to creating an environment in which we nurture talent at all levels — not only is it crucial for the continued success of our business, but for the industry in general. We know that we offer something special here at TBB and we’re keen to spread the word about our ability to provide long-term careers for people at all stages of their journey.”

Established in 2010, The Bigger Boat is a 23-strong agency based in Mirfield, West Yorkshire, working for B2B and B2C brands including Little Tikes, Celloglas, Deuren and BeFibre.
