B2B brand and marketing consultancy, Clock Creative, has appointed a new head of digital.

Andy Sweeting will replace Gavin Holland who recently joined Code.  He was previously responsible for establishing and leading Manchester City Council’s digital communications team and headed a number of high profile projects including the redevelopment of the Manchester.gov.uk website

Commenting on his appointment at the Ramsbottom-based business, Sweeting said he was attracted by Clock’s innovative approach: “It’s a really exciting time to join the team and I’m looking forward to making a difference and playing a part in driving the digital strategy onwards even further.”

In line with its digital investment, Clock has also appointed Ali Qamar as lead web developer. With a masters in IT, he is a highly specialised web designer and developer, previously employed by Medical Specialists Company.

A number of new business wins for AD Sprinklers, Bluebell Furniture, Serious Law, Pharmaseekers, Progress Housing Group, as well as Clock’s appointment on the Rolls Royce roster last year, have prompted other appointments to the team:

– A new role has been created and Sara Wilson has been brought in as Client Services Director. She previously headed up the marketing team at Learn Direct, was head of marketing and communications at 2ergo before joining Pixel8 as head of client Services where she lead digital and branding projects.
– The fourth appointment sees Jane Sudweeks join the team as account executive. Jane was previously responsible for marketing and social media at an office design company.
