New branding for Shopify expert Velstar

Shopify specialist and end-to-end ecommerce agency Velstar has embraced a new look and positioning, as well as setting its sights on becoming a B-Corp in 2024.

The repositioning follows a study of the brand’s past performance and of where it wanted to go, which led to the realisation that Velstar had unconsciously become an agency that was uniquely attractive to lifestyle brands, so the agency decided to embrace this.

CEO and founder Dan Sheard said: “When I founded Velstar in 2016, many people would have argued that the world didn’t really need another web-development agency (some of them did!) – but I knew I wasn’t creating just another agency. I was aiming for something that could make a splash, win big clients and become the kind of agency that ambitious brands want to work with.

“The new branding is another step on that journey, and better reflects the energy of the agency, and our commitment to Shopify excellence but, importantly, has a bit more of the personality that our clients love.”
