Muse Developments appoints Active Profile for Chester scheme

PR and marketing agency, Active Profile has been appointed to develop and manage a communications strategy for the £100m City Place scheme in Chester.

Active Profile was appointed by by Muse Developments following a competitive pitch and the team are now working on the project.

Development director for Muse Developments, Phil Mayall, said: “City Place will create a vibrant and distinctive new commercial district for Chester, and is of huge strategic importance to the city and region.

“The appointment of Active Profile will enable the scheme to be promoted in the regional and national arena, and endorse its role as one of the most exciting developments Chester has seen.”

City Place is a 3.5 acre development site and the city’s proposed new Central Business District due to its central location and close proximity to Chester Central station.

Muse was granted planning permission for the first phase of development at City Place in March 2013, which will take place on the land adjacent to Chester railway station. The first phase will ultimately provide a six storey 70,000 sq foot of office building, which will be linked to the railway station and Shropshire Union Canal.
