Online betting firm hunts for new creative agency

Online betting firm, Betway, is on the hunt for a new creative agency, following the end of its 7-year deal with Above+Beyond.

The company has enlisted intermediary agency, AAR, to brief and then oversee the shortlisting and pitch process. The “multi-million pound” contract will start this summer, with a major global launch and regional roll out in 2019.

“We enjoyed working with Above+Beyond for seven years, experiencing the excitement of Betway’s formative years and our subsequent stellar growth as a brand,” explained Betway CEO Anthony Werkman.

“The partnership led to some of the gambling industry’s most defining work. However, the relationship has reached its natural conclusion. Our businesses have gone through much change, which makes it a good time for us to part ways on great terms.”

Betway is official principal partner of West Ham United.
