Royal College of Nursing turns to Macclesfield agency

Macclesfield’s Root has won a competitive pitch to handle the Royal College of Nursing’s Safe Staffing campaign.

Due to launch on World Patient Safety Day, next month, it will highlight concerns around current staffing levels on NHS wards. It will also call for ‘safe and effective care to be enshrined in law in each UK country’.

“We are known in media circles for our longstanding collaborations with Crisis, Amnesty, Greenpeace and many other tremendous charities, working with our friends at Catalyst Works in Oxford, so it is fantastic to be given the opportunity to now also channel our skills into helping shine a light on what is one of the most pressing issues of the day,” said Gary Parkes, Root MD and Co-Founder.

“We have a crack team here at Root and I am delighted for them to have that affirmed by an endorsement like this. I urge people to visit the RCN website to find out more”

Root has worked on media planning and buying in the charity and NFP sector since 2004.
