Multitude Media is opening an office in Manchester as it eyes expansion across the North of England and Scotland.

The agency specialises in entertainment and works across television, film, personal and live events, including BBC’s Fleabag, First Dates, Stan & Ollie, Jack Whitehall and  Joe Lycett.

Its Northern office will be headed up by Director Charlotte Prentice, who was previously Account Director at Zero Degrees West in London and has previously worked at KPPR and Impressive PR.

She’ll report directly to Managing Director, Will Wood and TV Publicity Manager, Amanda Hearn.

“I am thrilled to have joined Multitude Media at such an exciting time of expansion and, not only that, to be able to open our doors in Manchester. The industry in the North is growing at such a vast rate and it only feels right for us to have a base there,” she said.

Wood established the agency in 2012, having previously been PR Director of Goal.com. Before that, he was a Sky Sports reporter and then Sports Editor at Leeds Guide.

“I’m from the North, set up the company in Manchester and have always had one eye on how we expand what we do outside of London,” explained Wood.

“Everybody can see the exciting changes happening across the industry and building a presence in the North will enable us to work with new companies, as well as strengthening the services we can offer existing clients.”

The office opens next month.
