Manchester athleisure challenger appoints Nest Commerce to spearhead US-led growth drive

Manchester-based athleisure challenger brand Adanola has selected full-funnel performance agency Nest Commerce to manage its paid social and search activity, to drive its expansion in the UK and internationally.

The brand has experienced explosive organic growth in the UK, driven by a powerful community, word of mouth and viral marketing. Now, Adanola is seeking to build sales and amplify awareness through paid advertising, which it hopes will help it expand into the lucrative American market.

Nest Commerce, with its proven expertise in digital brand building, will help Adanola reach a wider audience while maintaining performance efficiency. The strategy will encompass platforms including Meta and Google, expanding on Adanola’s strong community engagement.

“Adanola is one of the most exciting brands in the UK today,” said Luke Jonas, CCO at Nest Commerce. “They’ve built a passionate community who have real brand love for their high-quality athleisure products. With a paid social-first strategy, we can take them to the next level, particularly their push into the US market.”

Lily Thistlewood, head of performance marketing at Adanola added: “I am proud to partner with Nest Commerce. Their track record is second to none and exactly what we need to scale in the UK and internationally. After fantastic organic growth, the time is right to ramp up awareness of our brand to realise our ambitious plans.”

The news comes as Nest Commerce ramps up its presence in the Manchester region. The fast-growing business recently announced the appointment of Chris Howard as COO, who will be based in Manchester. Nest is also working with Manchester-based premium fashion brand Nadine Merabi to support the brand’s US expansion.
