Leeds digital agency sees revenues surge by 45% during lockdown


Leeds digital marketing agency Visibilis says it grew monthly revenues by 45% during lockdown due to a spike in businesses moving online.

The agency, founded in 2011 by Ben Wolfenden, predominantly offers search marketing and counts retailers Kiddies Kingdom and Terrys Fabrics amongst its client base.

It says it brought six new clients on board during lockdown, including software companies Linaro and Kallidus, and added seven staff to its team.

Managing director Daisy Wolfenden said: “We’ve seen enquiries spike from businesses who pre-pandemic were more reliant on their physical presence and offline activity such as events to make sales.

“We’ve been able to help them quickly adapt and diversify their marketing strategies to focus on their digital channels and this is really where Visibilis excels.”

In May, we reported how the agency had broken the £1m turnover mark despite a year in which Ben Wolfenden, who suffers from Cystic Fibrosis, was “moments from death” before undergoing an 11th hour double lung transplant.
