Jaywing is investing in its offices in Leeds and Sheffield. The agency has also announced a partnership with the University of Leeds, where it will deliver an MSc in Consumer Analytics and Marketing Strategy.

Of the office moves, Jaywing will extend the Small Mill in Leeds, which is the home to its search agency, Epiphany; while its Sheffield HQ will relocate to the currently derelict steel forgery, Albert Works, in the city centre. These will increase its office space by 12,000sq ft and are due for completion next year.

Currently employing more than 600 people across Yorkshire, London, Newbury, Swindon and Australia, it says the decision reaffirms its commitment to its Yorkshire home.

The MSc will be delivered with the University’s business school and the ESRC Consumer Data Research Centre.  The agency will be providing guest lectures about analytical techniques within a commercial environment.

“At Jaywing, we’re committed to developing new talent, regeneration, local community and environmental improvement.  We’re thrilled to be involved in a number of projects that support that, with the attraction and retention of the best talent our region has to offer and an outward face that reflects our values in the best, most high-tech design and combined with our rich, northern industrial character and heritage,” stated Rob Shaw, Jaywing CEO UK & Australia.

“With major transport links on our doorstep in both locations and deepening links with our local universities, we will increase our profile and attractiveness as a major creative and agency industries employer in the north, with all it has to offer as a place to live and work, culturally, historically and environmentally.  One of the most rewarding aspects of these projects is that they involve local businesses and academia. Plus we’re very much in support of the ambitions of the Northern Powerhouse, with Leeds and Sheffield key to this.”
