A Yorkshire agency’s lockdown art collaboration, Posters For The People, has been chosen by Imperial Health Charity Trust to feature in their latest exhibition: Thank You!
Leeds and Sheffield-based agency, FYI, wanted to spread art, love and all things positive throughout the U.K by working with local art movement In Good Company on a project called Posters For The People.
The collaborative work has been recognised as a key part of lockdown and NHS history, and will feature in a new exhibition celebrating the national gratitude to frontline workers during the pandemic.
The original artworks produced for Posters For The People will be on display in hospitals across London, alongside works by Turner Prize-winning artist Damien Hirst and ex-England goalkeeper David James.
Posters For The People used art to say thanks to key workers, taking over empty media spaces in city centres across the UK with beautiful messages by renowned artists including Morag Myerscough, Anthony Burrill and Rebecca Strickson.
