Final deadline approaching to enter the Prolific North Marketing Awards 2023

There’s just one week to go to enter this year’s Prolific North Marketing Awards, so we’ve created a handy round-up of everything you need to craft your submissions.

Our longest running awards event recognises marketing excellence across the North, celebrating stand-out campaigns, top teams, talented individuals and remarkable agencies.

By entering, you’ll be joining a prestigious group of winning alumni, such as Sheffield-based digital agency Evoluted.

“The Prolific North Marketing Awards are one of the staples in our calendar when it comes to seeking industry recognition for our best work,” said Dan Rawley, marketing manager at Evoluted.

“There’s no doubt that it helps to attract new clients, gives existing clients extra faith in our abilities and is brilliant for recruitment.”

Entries close on 4th August.

How to register on the portal

To submit your entry follow these simple steps…

  • Register for an account on our portal (it’s quick and easy) – you can save your progress and upload supporting documents.
  • You’ll need details of your project. We accept submissions for work completed between January 2022 – June 2023 (check your category for the full criteria of each award as it varies). Make sure you include information about your objectives and results.
  • If you’re entering work done in partnership with another organisation (for example, an agency submitting a campaign delivered for a client) either the agency OR client needs to have a presence in the North to be eligible.
  • Have your supporting documents ready. You can attach up to 5 documents to help your work shine for our judging panel!
  • Submit your work before midnight on 4th August –

Entry criteria and categories 

Whether it’s recognising agencies and teams, general campaigns, sector specific campaigns or individuals – there’s plenty of categories to choose from. Take a look at all the categories here.

There are a number of free categories to enter too including: 

  • Best In-House Marketing Team
  • Best Not-For-Profit Campaign
  • Marketer of the Year

Judges

We have an industry-leading judging panel, with experts from the likes of Channel 4, Quorn Foods, SALT, Formula 1 and Bruntwood Sci-Tech

Our carefully selected judges will take part in a two-step, fair and independent judging process to compile the shortlist, and ultimately decide the winners.

Gareth Turner, former head of marketing at Weetabix and founder of Leeds-based marketing consultancy Big Black Door, recently said he’s looking for clarity: “Have clear objectives, ideally commercial ones, and show how your activity performed against them!”

Deadlines and key dates

After entries close on 4th August, the judges will come together and once judging is complete, we will release the shortlist on 31st August 2023. The live awards ceremony will take place on 12th October at Emirates Old Trafford Football Stadium, where we will reveal the winners.

Tickets to the event will be available on our website from 31st August.
