Entries have opened for the Royal Television Society North West Awards 2013.
There are a total of 24 award categories this year, and all entries must have first been transmitted between August 1 2012 and July 31 2013.
The categories include a new award for the best learning or education programme, which is open to in-house or independent producers, including educational institutions.
Alex Connock, chair of the RTS North West Centre, said: “What was already a very exciting occasion once a year to celebrate the best output in the North West has gone to a whole new level with the doubling of the production in the region through MediaCity.
“This year will be better than ever and we urge everyone to enter the great creative work they have been doing in the region.”
The closing date for entries is July 26, with nominations to be announced in September.
