The fresh Group has been appointed to deliver the DFS company conference for the second consecutive year after a competitive pitch.
The Cheadle-based agency will look to build on last year’s ‘Above and Beyond’ 1940s military-themed conference, which featured army-style core drills, an aeronautical display featuring DFS’s top executives, a wartime tea dance and entertainment from comedian John Bishop.
This year’s event, in November, will look to celebrate the furniture company’s achievements over the past four years and will see fresh involved in every aspect, from production to video and design.
Andrew Stephenson, HR director at DFS, said: “After a hugely successful 2013 conference, the fresh team has produced another outstanding proposal for 2014.
“We are confident that the relationship we have built with the team at fresh, joined up with the creativity, passion and commitment they put into every project, will deliver a truly memorable 2014 event!”
Laura Taylor, group account director at fresh, added: “We are delighted to have been given the opportunity to deliver DFS’s 2014 company conference – we’ll use our deeper knowledge and understanding of the DFS brand and business ethos to build a truly fantastic, world-class event experience.”
The fresh Group, which last year turned over £13.6m and now has 84 staff, changed hands in a management buy-out in June.
