UK-based food producer MRC The Flava People has appointed digital agency Code Computerlove to lead a new marketing drive for its Flava-it brand of seasoning and marinade sachets.
The Manchester-based company launched Flava-it in 2003 and it’s now stocked in supermarkets including Tesco, Asda, Morrisons and Nisa. Sales exceed £1.7m annually.
Code Computerlove’s remit is to help the firm increase consumer sales and attract new stockists.
Flava-it’s brand manager Scott Dixon said: “Investing in our digital and social media marketing to help drive awareness and consumer purchase will support our ambition to significantly boost sales this year and be a frequently used product in kitchens around the UK.
“Code is helping us with our positioning strategy and will then help us to promote our 10-strong consumer marinade range to online audiences and across social media channels. The agency’s proposal takes us in a completely new and exciting direction for the brand, and is likely to cause a bit of a stir among the trade and consumers alike.”
Code has recently worked on other projects for First Transpennine, the NUS and HMV.
