CIPR PRide North West winners

The Chartered Institute of Public Relations celebrated 10 years of its PRide awards last night in a ceremony at Lancashire County Cricket Club’s The Point.

Peppermint Soda won 4 awards, all for its #livetransplant campaign, streaming the first ever live hair transplant, while Weber Shandwick North picked up 3 gold awards and was named outstanding public relations consultancy of the year.

Margaret Aspinall [pictured] was presented with the Communicator of the Year Award for her work during the 25 year fight for justice by the families of those who died in the Hillsborough Disaster.

“It makes me extremely proud to see so much talent and creativity being recognised here in the North West at this year’s CIPR North West PRide Awards. The standard of entries this year was incredibly high and all of those who were shortlisted or who won an award should be congratulated on designing and delivering some of the best public relations campaigns in the UK,” said CIPR North West chair Erin Portsmouth.
