Manchester-based PR and digital agency Carousel has won the consumer brief for Europe’s largest lantern and light festival after a six-way competitive pitch.
Lightopia is an immersive lantern and light festival that debuts at Heaton Park on 21st November.
Jessica Balodis, Account Director at Carousel, said: “Festivals, shows and events are a specialism for Carousel. Lightopia fits perfectly within our expertise and passion, being appointed to launch such a unique festival in the North West ahead of its European tour is very exciting and we can’t wait to get to work on our creative campaign.”
Ian Xiang, Founder and Creative Director of Lightopia, added: “ With a wide number of successful festival launches under their belts it made absolute sense to partner with Carousel.
“Lightopia aims to revive and reinterpret the senses, carrying the audience into a world of expression and emotion through beautiful light designs and interactive installations.
“It is a world built upon captivating experiences, there is no ordinary at Lightopia! And there is no ordinary with Carousel. Their extensive sector experience is already paying off following our initial launch last month – it’s a tremendous start.”
