Brazen Boutique, the hospitality-focused sibling to Brazen, has been appointed to help curate The hotly anticipted Manchester launch of bar and restaurant brand MAYA.
The new three-storey bar and restaurant from the team behind Isabel Mayfair will officially open at the end of March.
Situated at the intersection of Chorlton Street and Canal Street, the 20th-century warehouse building which MAYA will call home and share with the stylish LEVEN hotel holds a storied past in Manchester’s nightlife history – it was previously home to the infamous Mash and Air.
MAYA will be “a refreshingly dynamic all-day dining experience,” taking guests from noon until the small hours across all three of its levels, each one telling its own story.
Brazen Boutique will support on all pre-opening activity, working closely with national and North West media to build excitement right up to the public launch, plus engaging a roster of lifestyle influencers and talent, delivering exclusive sneak peeks, VIP launch event and post-event reviews.
Brazen Boutique’s lead, Taylor Campbell said: “This is a landmark launch for the region. MAYA is a fresh new chapter in the city’s vibrant and wonderful hospitality scene. We’re delighted to be a part of the team.”
Scottie Bhattarai, founder of MAYA says: “When we embarked on this project it was important for us to work with local talent, which the city has in abundance. Brazen have been a great partner for us during this launch phase and we’re excited to see what they can deliver as we head towards opening at the end of the month.”
The overarching concept is what MAYA calls “dinner plus” where dining experiences seamlessly evolve into exclusive hedonistic late-night entertainment.
The MAYA dining experience is crafted by Mancunian head chef Gabe Lea, who cut his teeth at Michelin-starred establishments like Le Manoir and The French at The Midland Hotel.
