Cheshire-based media consultancy K7 Media has appointed Phil Birchenall as project director. Birchenall, who was in a similar role at MediaCityUK-based Mediasmiths (now merged with The White Room), has been hired to expand K7's project and event capability.
Access Advertising has added three new members of staff. Lauren Jackson and Rob Goodswen have joined the Manchester-based agency’s account management team, while Nathan Czachur has taken up a position with the development team.
Martin O'Toole, former CEO and founder of Leeds agency McGrath O'Toole, has joined Coolpink as commercial director. O'Toole left his previous agency by mutual agreement in May. He had previously helped to found Home Marketing.
Jane Hector-Jones, who left News International’s Manchester office after an internal restructure last month, has joined Channel 4 as its first regional partnership and digital manager. Hector-Jones will join the broadcaster's regional sales operation in Manchester, working under agency principal Ewan Douglas.
Specialist retail advertising agency Gratterpalm has appointed James Foster as its new digital design manager and Amy Ewbank as senior planner. Foster joins the Leeds agency from digital signage agency Realisation where he worked with brands such as Telefónica Digital and Three mobile.
Leeds-based Sky Betting and Gaming has appointed Rob Painter as its new marketing director. Painter has previously spent 15 years in the newspaper industry with News International, during which time he held the roles of marketing director at The Sun, The Times and The Sunday Times.
Andrea Day is leaving travel news provider INRIX, to join BBC Radio Merseyside in September.
She first joined the company’s European headquarters in Altrincham in 2004 as a broadcaster and editor, when it was Trafficlink.
