Liverpool- and Manchester-based brand and communications agency Agent, along with its sister business Agent Academy, have unveiled their rebrand.

The agency and accompanying social enterprise have also committed to “making good work”, doubling down on its pledge to work with businesses making a positive difference to people, place and planet.

The brand refresh for the company comes alongside a new digital presence. Its colour palette has been updated while its recognisable purple has been retained to acknowledge its 16-year history.

Agent Academy’s new logo and branding is matched by a new offering of young people-focused programmes – Sparks, Rise, Fuse and Lift.

Yesterday, Agent was announced as entering the Prolfic North Top 50 Integrated Agencies for the first time at number 46. Its founder and CEO, Paul Corcoran, was named Outstanding Contributor to the North at last year’s Champions Awards.

Agent has recently experienced its most successful year yet, and has a growing team of 36 working in Manchester and Liverpool, recently bolstered by the addition of Head of Digital Paul Maker.

Agent Academy, which delivers industry-designed programmes for those aged 18 to 30 in the region, has so far helped more than 300 start careers in creative and digital.

Paul Corcoran said: “We’ve always been committed to social value and practicing what we preach, but more than ever, we want to truly commit to having a positive impact on everything we do. The growth of both Agent and Agent Academy over the last few years has culminated in a need for us to stake our claim for who we are and what we stand for, so that anyone who works with us, knows exactly what to expect.”

Zoe Wallace, Director of Agent Academy, added: “Being the place for future talent is about taking pride in where we’re from, being ahead of the game and giving everyone the opportunity to reach their potential.”
