Manchester television and film post production company, 422.tv is to cook up another series with cookery favourite Delia Smith.

422.tv has been re-commisssioned by production company Hotpot Pictures to provide post-production for series four of the Delia Online Cookery School with Waitrose.

Sarah Turner, Production Manager at Hotpot Pictures explained that 422.yv stood out from the crowd when it was reviewing the market for a northern based editing facility.

422.tv, MD Damien Lynch said it had been important to streamline their workflow processes.

“We know that Delia has a strong passion to teach the country to cook; Hotpot Pictures have brought that vision to life and together with 422.tv, we have ensured only the highest quality results are seen by the Cookery Schools’ hundreds of thousands of online viewers.”

The series of eight-minute lessons from the cook who, among other things, famously hit the headlines for teaching people how to boil an egg, provides a basic introduction to cooking and can be accessed on the Delia Online and Waitrose TV websites.

Using simple step-by-step instructions, each lesson incorporates additional video techniques to demonstrate how things should look during the cooking process in a modern equivalent alternative to the print-based cookery book.
