Manchester-headquartered fashion group N Brown has appointed MHP to advise on its financial and corporate communications following a competitive pitch process.

The FTSE 250 company targets niche markets such as plus size and mature through brands including Fashion World, Simply Be and Gray & Osbourn.

The account will be led at London-based MHP by John Olsen and Simon Hockridge, with support from Tess Harris and Jennifer Iveson.

They will report to N Brown’s director of investor relations, Bethany Hocking, and director of global communications, Ed Watson.

Hocking said: "We felt that MHP demonstrated an excellent understanding of our business and of what we are trying to achieve through our transformation strategy, and we look forward to working with their team.”

John Olsen, MHP MD, added: “We are delighted to be working with N Brown as they pursue a clearly articulated and ambitious transformation strategy, and look forward to helping tell the story over the coming years. This appointment adds to our already very strong presence in the mid-cap retail sector.”
