Leeds agency DS.Emotion has announced plans to increase its team by a third after recording a 27% increase in turnover.

The 20-strong company says it will be recruiting across all of its studios in Leeds, Manchester and London. It wouldn’t reveal actual turnover numbers but says it is aiming for similar growth in 2015.

Director Angus Armitage said: “Twelve months on from establishing our Manchester studio we have leveraged our property expertise to take on some of the North West’s most prominent developers and schemes.”

That work has included the 100,000 sq ft redevelopment of Arkwright House in Manchester city centre for Catalyst Capital, a £65m development in Stockport Town Centre, Angel Gardens at Noma and Axis, a 27-storey residential tower for Property Alliance Group.

Armitage added: “Property is on the move again and with our unique ‘place marketing’ proposition and track record we are well placed to maximise this opportunity. Many of our loyal clients are actively gearing up schemes across the country and re-engaging our expertise.”

In other sectors, DS.Emotion has increased its remit to market 27 hotels for the QHotels Group and has also secured projects for the NHS, Workplace Pensions Direct and Civica.
