Share

A passionate area bursting with Northern pride, the northeast and particularly Newcastle/ Gateshead, has positioned itself as a robust and growing base for the creative, digital and tech sectors.

It seemed only fitting to kick off the inaugural Prolific North Marketing Festival with an exclusive event in Newcastle on Monday 24 June. Join us as we spotlight excellent work originating from the region, and discuss the region’s plans to foster innovation and opportunities for growth.

There are great brands originating from the Northeast, both established and challenger brands – from the nation’s favourite sausage rolls, Greggs to Barbour, Fentimans, Berghaus, Sage or Atom bank to name just a few. A world-class centre for healthcare excellence, a workforce underpinned by university graduate talent, and R&D excellence, make the region highly attractive to investors and global businesses choosing to locate and expand in the northeast.

Expect a jam-packed afternoon full of inspirational content, with some true Northern grit thrown in!

Experimentation and play - the behaviours you need to foster in your marketing teams to achieve strategic flexibility

Responding to unforeseen change has become an everyday norm. It’s driving us as marketing professionals to find new levels of agility and smarter ways of working with limited in-house resources. We need to be able to react effectively ‘in the moment’ without compromising on quality or losing sight of our longer term vision & brand goals. In this session we’ll take a look at the concept of Strategic Flexibility, why it’s rising in importance and has arguably become a key difference between ‘surviving’ and ‘thriving’ in today’s rapidly and ever-changing marketplace. In a marketing context, we’ll expand on some of the key behaviours associated with strategic flexibility and what this can look like in practice within your teams, when it comes to planning, designing, and activating marketing initiatives.
