Digital boot camp launched to help businesses grow

A collaborative initiative to help improve business performance within Greater Manchester’s digital sector has been launched.

The Greater Connected initiative, run by Business Growth Hub, sees companies working together on a peer-to-peer basis to address issues and problems within their own organisations.

Held over three days, it is specifically aimed at digital and tech SMEs and follows on from a successful pilot programme trialed last year.

That saw 18 Greater Manchester companies including Apadmi, theEword, Sunde Technologies, Tunafish, Northcoders and Toast take part in sessions.

These were delivered through workshops and groups, and looked at developing strategies for achieving business goals, creating better and more productive teams, navigating internal conflict and improving negotiation, and boosting leadership skills.

Greater Connected has provided us with a deeper understanding of the dynamics of today’s modern business and crucially how we can apply these learnings to improve our own performance” said Bash Ali, managing director of Sunde Technologies.

Greater Connected is fully funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and qualifying businesses do not need to pay to take part.
