Digital-only bank to use Callcredit software to verify new customers

Atom, the UK’s first digital-only bank, has appointed Leeds-based Callcredit Information Group to help it verify new customers.

The partnership with Callcredit Information Group will see Atom use its DecisionStrategy platform, enabling instant 24/7 decisioning to validate and verify the digital identities of new customers and “make better informed decisions based on deeper credit risk and affordability insight”.

Based in the UK, Atom will not have any branches and customers will bank directly using smartphones on a 24/7 basis using Atom’s app.
