An App, which allows businesses to receive and reward real-time feedback from their customers or employees, has been awarded a 6-figure sum by the North West Fund for Venture Capital.

SurveyMe is based in Bramhall and was set up in 2011 by husband and wife team, Lee and Nicola Evans.

SurveyMeThe software is thought to be the first of its kind in the UK and is described as “the fastest and most cost-effective way to capture feedback, which can in turn be used to improve decision making to help business growth and enhance the customer experience.”

“Smartphones and apps have made us all more efficient at collecting and processing information. With SurveyMe we set out to create a feedback app that can be used by anyone, anytime, anywhere on any device. This investment is really significant in helping us continue to compete on the global stage – a position we’ve already reached sooner than we thought was possible through word of mouth,” said Lee Evans, who’s a former corporate finance adviser.

SurveyMe currently has over 6000 active users in more than 53 countries, with subscribers including Abode Hotels, Everton FC, Brownsword Hotels, Hilton, Fastway Couriers (New Zealand) and Whangarei District Council (New Zealand).

“SurveyMe has already built a strong customer base within the leisure and retail sectors and there is huge potential for its use within other industries. This investment will allow it to pursue growth by stepping up its marketing, further developing the software and expanding its reseller network,” added Richard Young of Enterprise Ventures, which manages the fund.

As part of the investment, SurveyMe plans to recruit 2 additional full-time technical staff.
