Bauer’s TFM has signed a partnership deal with Premier League newcomers, Middlesbrough.

TFM will have branding in and around the stadium and feature the club heavily on all its content channels.

“We have several exciting projects that we’ll deliver with the club across the year, including live match day broadcasts from outside the stadium and exclusive ticket competitions,” said station director, Dominic Munnelly.

“We recognise that Middlesbrough FC are deeply rooted in the Teesside community and by working together we’ll aim to make match day experiences more memorable and bring more exciting events to the Riverside. It’s also important to us that the partnership will help ex steel workers in the area.”

The station won’t be doing match-day commentary, but when the new season kicks off, presenter Scott Makin will be broadcasting live from outside the stadium.

“The club is delighted to welcome TFM as our latest Steel Partner. We have worked closely with their team to put together what we feel is a very exciting partnership which will allow them to directly engage with our fan base with a number of exciting projects planned,” said Lee Fryett, head of partnerships.

“As with all our Steel Partners funds from the Partnership will be donated to the MFC Foundation to help their efforts in supporting ex steel workers in the local community.”
