Prolific North Live: Speaker and content line-up revealed for Finance and Growth Hub

Today we can announce the full line-up of speakers and the content sessions in the dedicated Finance and Growth Hub Theatre, to take place over both days of Prolific North Live.

Topics to be discussed and explored range from funding solutions for early stage and fast-growing companies to tax incentives, business angel finance, exporting guidance, collaboration and partnerships, closing sales and more specific support for companies working in digital, creative, film and TV.

A number of third party experts will also be engaging alongside Business Growth Hub specialists including government advisers, digital and creative companies, universities, trade bodies and regional support networks.

Business Growth Hub has teamed up with Prolific North and is proudly hosting the Finance & Growth Hub which features 10 workshops with the full programme below. Attendees at the show are welcome to drop into the Theatre for any of the 10 presentations over the two days.

And Business Growth Hub is also exhibiting at the event on stands 22/23 where personal one-to-one sessions will be available.

Well over 4,000 people have so far registered to attend the expo, which takes place at Event City in Trafford Park on February 15th and 16th 2017.

Day One: Wednesday 15 February

10:00 – 10:45 – The power of partnerships and collaboration – with The University of Manchester.

Day two: Thursday 16 February

12:30 – 13:15 – Business Angels – investing in DCT.

The Business Angel initiative at BGH is widely acknowledged as one of the most initiatives of its type in the UK. Speakers: Phil Hargreaves, A2F and Steve Wall, Business Growth Hub

13:45 – 14:30 – E-Exporting: selling online internationally.

Lead speaker: Joe Darwen, Department of International Trade

15:00 – 15.45 – Getting your business off the ground – early stage funding for the digital and creative sector.

Lead speaker: Akshay Bhatnagar, Business Finance Solutions

Broadcast, the UK’s leading national broadcast media platform and its sister operation, the Media Production Show, will lead two full days of outstanding speakers and great content as part of the Broadcast and Visual Media Theatre.

A total of 15 trade bodies – including the CIPR, IPA and IAB – have signed up to engage at the event.
