Motionlab has appointed five new members of staff after what it says was a “significant influx of new business” in the first quarter of 2015.

Geoff Hoyle, formerly at The Daisy Group, joins as senior front-end developer and will be looking at introducing new technologies to the agency.

Kelly Stott moves from healthcare giants Cegedim RX to become studio manager, while Tom Sharp takes over account management of clients including the Glass and Glazing Federation and Furness College. He’s previously been at an agency in Kendal.

Chris Sharman joins from Cybertill in an online marketing software role, and graduate Ralitsa Dobreva comes on board to strengthen the firm’s digital marketing output.

CEO Simon Iredale said: “Motionlab is fortunate enough to have a wealth of creative talent and I am delighted that we have managed to add strength in depth to the group by securing the services of five such highly skilled individuals.

“2014 was a landmark year for the company as it marked our 10th year in business and saw us register a record turnover and 2015 is already shaping up to be just as momentous, something only achievable with a dynamic and dependable workforce.”
