Each week, Monday Moves collates all the recent job-related news on Prolific North, as well as running through all the new opportunities on our job board.

Soho Editors, the post production training company, is looking to double the size of its staff over the next few months after announcing plans to open a new centre at The Sharp Project. The company currently employs four.

Growing at a rapid rate is Active Win Media, the internet marketing company launched by Betfred founders, Fred and Peter Done, last year. It's now looking to hire a further 23 staff for its Manchester city centre base.

Laura Franses was appointed to a new role last week in charge of Channel 4's Growth Fund, while Preston agency Motionlab has a new head of PR.

In Liverpool, Ph.Creative continues to grow rapidly following its recent £500,000 investment, hiring three "seasoned professionals", while DJS Research added two new staff.

And in addition to the high-profile new roles for Susanna Reid and Alan Myers, Kellogg's made a senior digital appointment.

Over on the jobs board this week, fresh Group is looking for a Workshop Manager with the ability to juggle "time, people, technical challenges and tight deadlines". Experience in the exhibitions industry is also a must.

Sheffield agency Diva Creative needs a Digital Designer who can "solve real world problems" with their work. In line with Diva's ethos, you'll be working predominantly with ‘green’ companies and public sector organisations.

Staying in Yorkshire-based digital, a "luxury retail brand" in Harrogate want a Web Designer who can not only design but also "build the designs you create". A minimum of two years' experience is required, with e-commerce a desired skill.

There's also an "incredible" opportunity for an Art Director who wants to work on "mostly" offline activity. Retail experience is essential.

A specialist sports retail business has a need for an eCommerce Assistant who will work on "major, high profile, consumer brands". It'll help if you love monitoring, analysing and reporting on performance.

There are a host of PR opportunities this week. The UK's "leading broadcast communications consultancy" in Manchester would like an Account Executive with at least six months' agency work under their belt.

Still in Manchester, an agency that's "pulling up trees" has an opening for a Corporate Agency Manager with a salary on offer of up to £27k. At least two years' experience is required.

Meanwhile, a public affairs consultancy is after an Account Executive with public affairs or property experience.

If you're at an agency that "no longer excites you", you could be lured by the prospect of a PR Account Manager role at a "leading" Yorkshire agency, or perhaps you'd rather go for the PR Consultant position at a boutique agency, also over the Pennines.

Finally, up in Lancashire, an agency has a "rare opportunity" for a Junior Account Manager. Applicants should be "really strong all-rounders" and the successful candidate can expect to find "the friendliest, most supportive PR working environment in the North West".
