TBWAManchester unwraps Christmas campaign for JD Williams

TBWA\Manchester has unveiled its first Christmas campaign since winning the JD Williams account in May.

The Manchester agency gives the ‘I AM’ campaign – first seen in the autumn – a festive twist with another all-female cast.

The aim, the agency says, is to celebrate a mind-set of “trying something different in a way that entices women to shop with JD Williams throughout the festive period and beyond”.

Lisa Nichols, ECD of TBWA\Manchester said, “It’s a busy time of year for our audience, so we want our seasonal ‘I AM’ campaign to reflect real women, looking and feeling great, whatever they get up to over the festive period”.

Paul Ray, group head of brand and advertising at N Brown Group, added: “As a brand that is committed to championing and empowering 45-60-year-old women, we’re proud to be representing their love of the Christmas season, through our continued work with a cast of amazing real-women. I hope the campaign will inspire our customers to have an extra special Christmas with the help of JD Williams.”

The work was created by Ben Phillips and Gary Hulme, and directed by Kathryn Ferguson with The Mob Films.

The campaign is now live across TV, VOD, Social and in national press.
