Managing the account will be a four-strong team from de Winter’s B2B division, which specialises in the energy and innovations sector.

The team will also implement a targeted regional PR plan alongside the broader brief.

de Winter’s PR managing director, Kate Cox, said: “EA Technology is an innovative and forward-thinking organisation that we have always aspired to work with, particularly given our experience in the energy sector.

“As an agency we have developed a unique client base and our B2B team continues to expand.”

de Winter is also the retained PR agency for the Customer-Led Network Revolution project, the UK’s leading smart grid project involving EA Technology, Northern Powergrid, British Gas, Newcastle University and Durham University.
