Leeds agency Turn Key has opened an office in Los Angeles as it takes a “natural next step” towards realising its vision of becoming a “truly global agency”.
The new operation follows the opening of the agency’s London office in the spring.
Turn Key, which was founded by Nik Entwistle from his bedroom in 2000, now has a team of 48 with clients including Johnson & Johnson, retail property developers Hammerson, pan-European hair extensions brand Great Lengths, Campari and Soap & Glory.
Entwistle explained why the agency had chosen LA as its first overseas office.
He said: “There is strong demand in the US market for integrated agencies that can deliver world-class creative as part of a digital, marketing and PR and social media offering.
“Building a team in the States is a natural next step given client demand, and furthers our vision to become a truly global agency with key market hubs.”
He added that there would be opportunities for current Leeds and London staff to work across all three sites.
