MediaCom North appoints lrPR

Lee Robson’s lrPR has been appointed by MediaCom North to oversee its trade and corporate public relations strategy.

MediaCom North, which has a combined annual turnover of over £150m, is seeking to raise the profile of its offices in Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham.

“Our focus has always been and will remain, doing a first class job for our clients, though as a result we recognise that in the past we have not always been as vocal in the industry as our status should allow,” said MediaCom North COO, Paul Wheeler.

“With the appointment of lrPR to develop a new, proactive PR strategy, we’re looking forward to tapping into Lee Robson’s considerable experience and expertise in helping us live up to our PR potential.”

Robson, a former BJL group account director, set up his own agency in August last year, counting True North Productions, The Sharp Project and former employer, BJL as his clients.

“I’m looking forward immensely to working with them on building their media profile. 2013 was a fantastic year for me personally and a great start for lrPR and I’m focussed on helping my current and any potential new clients have the best 2014 possible,” added Robson.

MediaCom North is part of the WPP group.
