What you can expect in Manchester at Prolific North’s Northern Marketing Festival

Northern Marketing Festival

Next month Prolific North will host a brand new event series – Northern Marketing Festival – to celebrate, connect and inspire the North’s ambitious marketing sectors.

Hosted across 24 to 27 June, Northern Marketing Festival has been created in response to industry demand and our belief that the North deserves its own platform to help showcase talent and innovation across the sector.

And that’s exactly what we’ll be doing! With a variety of incredible speakers set to share their marketing insights and top tips, the festival will be hosted across three Northern cities starting off in Newcastle on 24 June, heading across the Pennines to Leeds on 25 June, then back to Manchester on 26 June.

So what can you expect in Manchester? The final – and biggest – day of the Northern Marketing Festival will be hosted at Manchester Hall on 26 June. The North West’s thriving creative and marketing communities will come together to share ideas during a jam-packed day with two tracks of content.

Track 1 – Innovation

We’ll be covering the latest trends and strategies shaping the future of marketing and how you can put them into practice during track 1. Interested in the role of paid media in your marketing strategy? Join our headline partner Embryo, where the independent search-first marketing agency will host an unmissable session on everything you need to know. Want to discover more on how a local brand is making global waves? Expect a brand diaries keynote session filled with plenty of insights.

You’ll also be able to hear from Lesniak Swann, where the specialist B2B marketing agency will be hosting a lively panel discussion on the skills involved in B2B marketing and how these can be applied to consumer-facing sectors.

Join Chloe Bennett, Head of Digital PR at Digitaloft, to find out why we need to be rethinking the success of Digital PR with a look back into why businesses need digital PR, how reporting has changed, how to show ROI in digital PR and case studies to put those tips into action.

Expect a special session on the rebrand of National Football Museum with Janine Ross, Marketing and Communications Director at National Football Museum and Nicola Docking, Managing Director of Poke, who will share how they explored experimentation, play and creativity to put football on the cultural map.

Track 2 – Marketing Mavericks

From quirky campaigns to creating that elusive viral content or bringing big ideas to life on small budgets, this stage will showcase some of the most exciting and (sometimes controversial) marketing mavericks in the industry today

We’ll be exploring the dynamic media landscape of ecommerce, digging into generative search, and finding out how to stand out in a competitive landscape as an underdog brand.

It’s set to be an unmissable day for marketers both brand and agency side. With plenty more announcements to be revealed soon, check out the full agenda here and make sure you take advantage of the early bird tickets here before they go!
