Trafford-founded Female Business Festival goes global with debut online summit

The Female Business Festival is back for its fourth year, bigger, better, and now accessible to women entrepreneurs worldwide with its first-ever online summit.

Taking place from June 24th-26th, 2025, the Female Business Festival: Summer Summit continues its legacy of empowering ambitious women in business, offering expert-led sessions, actionable insights, and a vibrant, supportive community.

What started as a small, local event in Trafford has now grown into a must-attend occasion on the business calendar. This year, organisers Hazel Woodward (Founder of LIFT, a social media agency) and Janine Friston (founder of Female Business Network) are breaking boundaries by bringing their inspiring event to a wider audience—without losing the energy, focus, and value that attendees have come to love.

“We’ve always received amazing feedback about the speakers, the relaxed yet professional atmosphere, and the invaluable business insights,” says Hazel Woodward. “We wanted to expand without the limitations of venue size or increasing ticket prices. Moving online allows us to do just that—while making the event even more accessible for female entrepreneurs everywhere.”

The Female Business Festival: Summer Summit is designed for female-led micro-businesses looking for practical strategies to grow their client base, boost their income, and build a business that aligns with their lifestyle aspirations. The three-day virtual event will feature over 20 expert speakers, each carefully selected for their expertise and real-world business experience.

“Our speakers aren’t just good talkers—they’re in the trenches, building their own businesses, and achieving success on their terms,” explained co-host Friston. “Through workshops, presentations, and hands-on sessions covering topics like attracting ideal clients, sales strategies, marketing, branding, finance, tech, and more, attendees will leave feeling motivated, informed, and ready to take action.”

The shift to an online format means attendees can tune in live or catch up on-demand, allowing for complete flexibility. Whether watching from home, between meetings, or from anywhere in the world, participants can engage in a way that suits their schedule.

“It’s an exciting step forward,” added Woodward. “With so many businesses now working globally, we can’t wait to see where in the world our festival-goers will be joining us from.”

Tickets for the Female Business Festival: Summer Summit, as well as sponsorship opportunities, are available now.
