Place marketing agency theEword has brought in two new members of staff after picking up a hat-trick of new briefs.

Jonny Fox has joined the Manchester agency having most recently run marketing communications for the Timpson Group. Before that he managed multichannel and inbound marketing campaigns for Barratt Homes.

And Mariel Rubinstein will look after leisure and destination campaigns for the agency, with a particular focus on millennial and Gen Z audiences. She joins from Liverpool-based Nova, the tech-focused startup mentorship and investment firm.

The new hires follow a spate of client appointments, including Latimer Homes, Marketing Manchester and the Far East Consortium.

Aisha Riaz, operations director at theEword, said: “We’re excited to have Jonny and Mariel as part of the team.

“By combining and tailoring digital content and advertising we’re able to deliver amazing results for our clients. Our recent wins in the property and leisure sectors show that these organisations are committing to increase sales and revenue by hiring an agency that understands their sector.”
