SUN rebrands historic Yorkshire business

SUN has completed the rebrand of 125 year old manufacturer, Siddall & Hilton.

The Lancashire agency was approached to come up with a brand identity “that stood up to, and enhanced” the Brighouse firm’s history and innovation.

Following a series of brand workshop sessions and interviews, SUN came up with the “Excellence and Innovation Connected” proposition. This led to a mark which “highlighted not only their products, but also the connected nature of their values and brand pillars.”

Siddall & Hilton is one of the leading manufacturers of welded mesh products in Europe and the mark takes the shapes and patterns from the raw materials used in the processes, through to the end products.

“Working with the team at SUN was a real pleasure and the creative process to develop the new identity was also,” said Marketing Director Ged Leigh.

“Jamie and Mark were very patient and worked with us to achieve what we believe is a truly distinctive brand identity, which will stand the test of time”

As well as the new identity the agency created brand guidelines, a website, business collateral, site signage and wayfinding.
