Online toy and games retailer BargainMax.co.uk has selected Manchester-based agency Brazen as its PR and influencer agency.

The news follows a recent seven-figure investment the retailer received from HSBC UK, with the retailer recruiting Brazen to raise the brand’s profile and visibility online.

The agency, as part of a consumer trade and PR brief, will aim to drive traffic to the website through digital PR outreach. It will also include a campaign with publicity stunts, national news generation, alongside press office and influencer activations.

Dan McKay, Marketing and ecommerce director at BargainMax.co.uk, said, “What we’re now looking for Brazen to deliver is unprompted brand recall and mass awareness.

“We loved Brazen’s energy, enthusiasm and creativity and with that, coupled with their unrivalled media contacts and experience in the retail sector, we’re hugely excited about the future of BargainMax.co.uk.”

Sasha Marks, Brazen director, added: “BargainMax.co.uk is the hidden gem every parent wished they knew about and we’re delighted to be able to add it to our growing portfolio of retail brands. We can’t wait to make them famous as we head into Golden Quarter and beyond.”
