Northern ad vet Jeff Edis launches ‘agency’s agency’

Veteran of the Northern ad world, Jeff Edis, has launched Words, Words, Words, “a copywriting agency with a difference.”

During a career that has seen Jeff in both Creative Director and Managing Director roles, he has worked on brands including Disney, Vidal Sassoon, Barbour, Royal Doulton and BAFTA and is determined to re-establish the very best in copywriting he believes has been a victim of the digital age.

Although copywriting agencies have been around for some time Words, Words, Words has set its sights exclusively on the agency sector, targeting integrated, digital, creative, design and branding agencies. It provides its services via the interactive wordswordswords website.

“We will only be working for agencies, because having run and worked in them we understand the challenges and pressures they face and the quality they need for their clients. We’ve spent the past two years researching the market, developing our systems and attracting superb writers and I believe we are uniquely placed to provide a new standard of support for the region’s agencies”, said Jeff.

The new copywriting agency is launched on the premise that agencies often need more copy and content than in-house teams can provide. Whether that’s to cope with an influx of new business, to meet the need for specialist copy for specific clients, or to produce the high volume of digital content needed for websites, blogs, emails, white papers and social media.

Another difference Edis highlights is that his agency is not just a “provider of copywriters,” highlighting the importance of account management and ensuring work is delivered on time, brief and budget.

The agency’s website features specially tailored briefing documents that can be completed online, designed to ensure that the briefs relate to specific writing projects.

There are also writer profiles covering the agency’s brand experience of working on major national and international brands including British Airways, Rimmel, Nivea, Barclaycard, Diageo, Nissan, Standard Chartered, Nespresso, Sky Bet, Morrisons, Adidas, Siemens and Ford, while wordswordswords’ writers have won highly prestigious creative awards including Cannes Lions, D&AD, Webbys and CLIOS.
