Leeds-based Principles has launched its latest television commercial for Astonish.
It’s the second national campaign under the ‘No magic, no spells, just Astonish’ brand messaging.
The first, which aired a year ago, resulted in a 30% uplift in sales, according to the agency.
“Following the successful launch of Astonish’s new creative platform on TV, out of home and online earlier this year, we were keen to rise to the next challenge of bridging the gap between effective storytelling and spotlighting product,” said Principles Director, Liz Bryne.
“It was key to create something that resonated with families across the country, pushing the insight that cleaning is often more than just a practical task, and can be a selfless act of care for others. We’re really pleased with how the resulting creative is entertaining enough to be remembered, without taking the spotlight off the product.”
Astonish has invested £3m into media, which has been planned and bought by another Leeds agency, Boutique.
The commercial will run until March.
“I’m thrilled that Astonish is returning to TV screens this winter,” added Astonish Chief Executive, Howard Moss.
“The success of our previous adverts has been overwhelming, and I hope this latest campaign will help us to take the next step on our brand journey.”
