The co-founders of an award-winning Newcastle-based creative agency have re-grouped to transform the company into a team of strategic marketing consultants.
The pivot by Unwritten, say its founders, recognises the need for dynamic marketing strategies that respond to changing market environments, where companies need to concentrate limited resources on the greatest opportunities in order to achieve a long-term competitive advantage.
The new-look Unwritten will offer its services on an interim, highly cost-effective basis. It’s a big shift from Unwritten’s previous work in campaign delivery and creative content, but the agency says it’s a move that’s already attracting attention from clients eager to reevaluate their marketing efforts in order to drive growth.
Lisa Eaton, co-founder and MD, said: “Given the current climate and the changes we’ve all seen and felt over the last few years, many businesses have had to reconsider what success looks like for them. With so much business transformation taking place, the need for powerful and dynamic marketing strategies has never been greater, but investing in ongoing, full time strategic talent can be costly. In just twelve weeks we will deliver a bespoke strategy that’s wholly aligned with clients’ business objectives, ensuring their marketing efforts are focused and effective.”
The move reunites fellow co-founder Amy Mooney with Eaton to focus exclusively on strategy development. Mooney stepped away from Unwritten in 2019 to develop her family business. Unwritten clients have included Visit England and Culture Bridge.
