New Ebuyer owners appoint 26 Agency

Leeds-based digital agency 26 has been appointed by electronic commerce retailer, Ebuyer, following a competitive pitch process among three agencies.

Ebuyer.com is one of the UK’s leading retailers of electronics, technology, and office supplies. Following new ownership in Spring 2023, Ebuyer has ambitious plans to expand its product lines, audience and territories.

26 will be Ebuyer’s dedicated integrated marketing agency. Aligning to the business’ 5-year plan to double revenue, the agency will be responsible for everything from brand and performance marketing to data, CRO, UX and creative.

James Bell, marketing director at Ebuyer, said: “We’re undergoing a root and branch marketing transformation to be a driving force within our business to meet our growth ambitions, and having the right agency partner to enable us is critical. 26 not only has the operational pedigree and heritage across a wide range of services to help us navigate any challenges on our journey, but the team aligns with our marketing philosophy and are an excellent cultural fit with the organisation we want to be. We’re delighted to be working together.”

Scott Sadeghian-Tehrani, media strategy director at 26, added: “I’ve been an Ebuyer customer for years, so when I saw the brief and growth aspirations the new owners had, I was pretty excited! 26 had the pleasure of pitching multiple services across brand, performance marketing and digital experience. The nature of a single appointment means we are truly accountable and look forward to developing a coherent multichannel strategy with James and his team.”
