Manchester-based digital marketing agency Forever has been selected to work with the NHS to promote its COVID-19 vaccination drive.
The agency was first appointed by the NHS in September 2020 to create and manage digital campaigns covering the flu jab, winter illnesses, respiratory conditions, and mental health support.
Due to the success of these campaigns, the NHS has now awarded the agency a contract to work with them on their COVID-19 campaigns, which commenced in February 2021.
The COVID-focused campaign will aim to promote services available to those affected by the pandemic, which will include topics such as health screenings, mental health, respiratory and cancer concerns, as well as isolation. There will also be a focus on vaccine take-up and the promotion of pop-up immunisation centres.
Tasked with maximising a relatively small budget whilst increasing reach, engagement, and ultimately take-up of the COVID jab, the agency has implemented a strategy which includes paid social media, display and forum advertising and PPC.
In 2022 the range of campaigns is expanding to incorporate further social channels including Facebook, Instagram, Mumsnet, local Radio, Programmatic and TikTok.
Kris Boorman, Paid Media Manager at Forever said: “It’s a privilege to be working with the NHS supporting them with this vital campaign at such an important and unprecedented time. The results of this digital campaign have more significance than most, so we’re delighted to use our expertise across a full array of channels to help get our targeted messages to their intended audiences.”
