The best EA Sports FC players from around the world are in Greater Manchester this weekend for The eChampions League.
It’s being filmed at MediaCity’s dock10 studios, as players compete for their place in this season’s new look competition – which mirrors the format of the UEFA Champions League.
Let year’s winner is Jonny, who returns to defend his title after qualifying from the WOW Virtual Bundesliga, alongside VBL semi-finalist KKoray, 2025 league champion levyfinn and 2024 FC Pro World Champion, Vejrgang.
ePremier League players include back-to-back ePL Champions Tekkz, and Bonanno, who play for Manchester City joined by runners-up Marley (and Jayden (Brighton).
The competition takes place over 3 stages – the‘League Phase’, ‘Knockout Phase’ and ‘Finals’.
The “League Phase” sees all 36 player compete in a round-robin format at dock10 this weekend.
The bottom 12 players will be eliminated.

The eight eChampions League finalists will compete in front of a live audience in Munich, Germany, at Eisbach Studios.
