Byrne joins Newcastle agency Bonded from Dentsu to build owned media offering

Siobhan Byrne has been appointed as SEO & Content Director at digital and media agency Bonded, which was launched in the North East last year.

She joins the senior management team at the agency and will oversee Bonded's expansion into owned media. Building on its paid search, paid social and ATL media offering, it is expanding into organic search in support of this.

Byrne, who joins from the Dentsu network and has more than 10 years of agency and product experience, is set to develop the organic search and content proposition of the agency - operating from its Newcastle city centre office.

She said: "It's great to join such an innovative agency, with the values they place on the importance of people and connection. I’m looking forward to working with Steve and the other directors, to expand our offering in the UK and beyond."

Bonded was launched in 2021 - to fill "a growing gap in the market left by digital technology and automation" - by four former figures from the Dentsu network, including Underwood, who is a former Dentsu Managing Partner.
