Modo25 unveils its new £2m MarTech platform

Digital marketing agency, Modo25 has unveiled its new digital marketing intelligence platform BOSCO. Local MP Andrea Jenkyns was among guests at the launch in its new Leeds office.

The agency has invested around £2m in BOSCO, which enables retailers to use complex AI and machine learning to grow their profits. The SaaS platform connects a business’s internal marketing and sales data with extensive algorithmic modelling to predict which channels are the best to invest in for future success, all using a straightforward interface and reports that help marketers to make informed digital marketing spend decisions using data-driven insights.

The seven-figure investment in BOSCO has been supported by several angel investors, including Bonamy Grimes founder of Skyscanner, Richard Flint former CEO of Skybet, Rob Hamilton founder of Instant Offices and Pavers Shoes – who is a Modo25 client and now has invested in the agency to support the development of BOSCO.

BOSCO has been developed by a team of leading e-commerce practitioners, global digital marketing specialists and data scientists spearheaded by associate director of product Emily Hakner, chief technology officer Zdenek Burda and principal data scientist Dr James McKeone.

Clients that are already utilising BOSCO include Pavers Shoes, Castore, Sigma Sports and Ski Solutions. BOSCO is also utilised by global digital marketing agencies in the UK and USA so that they can provide better reporting and predictions for their clients.

Alongside Andrea Jenkyns MP, chief executive of Leeds City Council Tom Riordan spoke at the event, which doubled as an official opening for Modo25’s new city centre office, and shared his thoughts on the emerging technology and start-up sector in Leeds.

John Readman chief executive officer of Modo25 said: “Online retailers needed a toolset that eliminates both the complexity of online media and the confusion caused by competition between the different options. By investing in and creating a unified dashboard that combines all the data required to predict future online performance, BOSCO solves that problem.”
