Ashfield and Huntsworth become Inizio

Specialist medical marketing and communications agency, Ashfield MedComms, has become part of the Inizio Group.

It means that Ashfield and Huntsworth will combine their full offering of advisory, medical, marketing, communications, and patient and stakeholder engagement services under a single brand for the health and life science sector.

Newly formed Inizio operates out of 35 countries, with more than 10,000 staff. Ashfield MedComms has offices in Macclesfield and Manchester in the UK.

“The creation of Inizio is a direct response to the increasingly complex landscape our clients navigate in terms of clinical development, product launch and commercialisation. Through Inizio they can access the specialist expertise and a partner that will help them to optimise the commercialisation of their products.

“Our offering positions us to add significant value to our clients and more importantly make a difference in the lives of patients they serve.Collectively, we have consistently launched the majority of new drugs to market, across the largest pharma companies in the world.”

The group will be split into 5 separate operations:

  • Inizio Advisory – using data to help pharma, biotech and life sciences companies across licensing and development, product launches, strategy, pricing and market access.
  • Inizio Medical – delivering medical communications, medical affairs, real world evidence and outcomes research.
  • Inizio MarComms, which is represented by Evoke, a global brand, experience, and communications platform, “purpose-built to make health more human™”. 
  • Inizio Engage: strategic engagement and commercialisation
  • Inizio Biotech
