Yorkshire gets its round in as Alexander Armstrong hosts new series of Perfect Pub Walks

Actor, comedian and presenter Alexander Armstrong will be getting the drinks in in Yorkshire as he embarks on a tour of Perfect Pub Walks in a second series of Up&Away Studios’ format for More4.

In Perfect Pub Walks (4×60), Armstrong sets out on some of the most spectacular pub walks the country has to offer, joined by one of our best-loved national treasures in each episode.

This series sees Sir Lenny Henry, Chris McCausland, James May and Chris Packham don their walking boots as they accompany Alexander in the great outdoors to amble from one lovely pub to the next in Yorkshire, Kent, Monmouthshire and Shropshire. Along the way, they take in the landscapes, nature and history, as well as sharing wide-ranging, funny and sometimes very personal conversations.

Armstrong said: “Nothing beats a walk in a beautiful landscape, a good pub, a pint and a great chat. Filming Perfect Pub Walks has been a complete delight, topped off by some fantastic conversations with four terrific icons.”
